you can take the boy out of the country but you can't take the country out of the boy

Ok so Monday has officially become the day I hate the most out of the week cause it's long. 10 am- 1h 45m of cartography.... would be fun if we were actually learning mapping techniques. all we learned so far is all the history associated with it. nice maps though the teacher has. figured out what this closed up shop in town could be that I think would be a hit.... so we all remember Melt's. It closed and became Macho's. It closed....... perhaps the place as a food establishment isn't going to work considering at that intersection there are already 2 other restaurants and a gas station on the other corner (that sells better food than Macho's made). So I thought long and hard..... figured out something that this town could use. Think about a Kiosk. Like the kind they have all over NYC. But a kiosk with more of a store feeling to it. Space in this corner store is limited so I had to really think about what to do with it. But a place that sells all type of media. Newspapers (both domestic and some big international ones), magazines,new and used movies (with a hefty international section), and a little coffee corner. I think the place would do great business. Cater to some of the larger ethnic groups we have here in New Paltz and it would be amazing. I bet Zelbert Moore would be in a lot. Too many restaurants in this town. Any more and I think it's a suicide mission. I like the idea of the new Vegetarian Indian restaurant that is going in. I look forward to going to that place. Late- goodnight
